FLOATING ASSISTANT/AFTER SCHOOL TEACHER (full time)

We are now accepting resumes from energetic, caring individuals. This is an exciting, fast-paced job with a business dedicated to make learning fun.  We are currently hiring a floating assistant teacher/after-school teacher.  This position's primary hours are from 11:00-6:00 Mon-Fri and consists of helping teachers with lunch breaks, assisting with lunch clean up, doing prep times, and then assisting with the after school program for the remainder of the day.  This position requires walking to pick up children ages 5-10 from Versailles Schools, and implementing our afternoon schedule including snack, homework and fun activities.  This is a full-time, 35 hours per week position, with the possibility of adding subbing hours to obtain 40 hours if desired.

A degree in early childhood or elementary education is preferred, but not required. A high school diploma is a minimum education requirement.  Skills in multitasking, positive reinforcement, and creativity are essential.  The ideal candidate would possess the ability to be a positive role model, creating a warm environment while motivating kids to succeed and have fun.  Experience working with children this age is a must!

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (as needed)

A casual position where the person will cover a position for a teacher on vacation/sick leave.  The individual will likely be floating between various classrooms depending on what the teachers are needing.
